Raised in Colorado’s rural farming community, I remember going for family car rides to look at houses on Sunday afternoons, planting the early seeds that would soon yield my avid interest in real estate. My extensive experience in real estate finance (Ernst & Young and Kenneth Levanthal) and my former position as Controller of Melody Homes and the Colorado Division of Kaufman and Broad, uniquely position me to the needs of both buyer and seller, allowing me to reveal the bigger picture for my clients at Laura Martin Properties at Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty.
Having owned eight homes in five different cities, I know what the home-buying process can and should never be. After living in Denver, San Francisco, Mill Valley, and Vancouver, BC, when it was time to settle down to raise our daughter (now off to school at Chapman University), we knew Portland was the right fit. With its many distinct neighborhoods and districts and its friendly, close-knit community, shared values, and unparalleled quality of life, we chose to nestle into Portland’s Dunthorpe neighborhood. Living here has been a great source of comfort and strength for our entire family.
